Fresh lemons from Barb + box of raspberries = Raspberry Lemonade. Perfect equation for this heat. 😎 Just add a good book! Life is perfect! 😎
Q’s Raspberry Lemonade
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
2 cups fresh squeezed lemons* – remove seeds
7 – 8 cups of water
1 cup of raspberries* – blend in blender (this would be good with other berries if you don’t like raspberries, think strawberry, blueberry, etc.)
Combine sugar and 1 cup water in saucepan. Heat until all of the sugar has melted and a syrup is formed. Cool.
Combine 2 cups lemon juice and 7 – 8 cups of water. Add sugar syrup and stir. Add blended raspberries.
Add ice to cup, pour Raspberry Lemonade over and serve. Repeat as often as necessary! 😎
*We like pulp so we don’t strain the lemon juice or the blended raspberries. If you don’t like pulp, we recommend combining the lemon juice and raspberries and then straining. Add syrup last.
I also made a double batch since Alan insists on drinking some too! Dang! 😎
